ASP 2008 Pipe of the Year Project

2008 marked the first year S.E.THILE pipes have been part of the Alt.Smokers.Pipes Pipe of the Year project. The participants chose the belge shape, and I was very excited to have my Belge interpretations included in the offerings and continue to make them.
I will be posting links to the A.S.P. POYs on this page as they are finished. They will be similar to these first three in overall shape, but each pipe will also be completely unique to get the most I can from each piece. As these do, they will also very in size and finish. All stems will be hand cut from either German Ebonite or Cumberland rod. Some may also have accents in Ivory, Antler, or excotic hardwood. Most will have a "fishtail" style bit. This enables me to get a very thin and graceful shank while also providing for security and comfort.

 

 

 

 In addition to offering the POYs for sale on the website as they are finished, I'm also very happy to take requests for finishes, features, or creative alterations, and welcome your inquiries. While I prefer not to take direct orders or commisions, I will in many cases be happy to make a pipe according to your specifications. I will then E-mail you pictures and you'll have the first optiona (no obligation). I see this as the best way to insure a happy customer, and a happy pipe maker!
