Made from Italian Plateaux with a hand cut German Ebonite stem, boxwood insert, and an integral tenon. This pipe has very graceful lines and a nice ring grain blast with straight showing up through flowing from a smooth birdseye bottom. Very thick walls, yet a nice light pipe for it's size with excellent balance. Issues keeping this an affordable grade D: A small flaw in the smooth portion of the shank near the stem and another at the very top inside the chamber. I also slipped while stamping the "H" in the nomenclature. All visible in the pics.
